KMEX attended the grand opening event for the San Fernando Community Health Center clinic located within the Corazón del Valle development, a 180-unit affordable housing complex designed to integrate supportive services with housing.
In Panorama City, a new health clinic has opened where they will offer medical and dental services to low income families and for people experiencing homelessness.
There are also pediatric services and treatments for chronic conditions such as diabetes or hypertension.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and it is located at 14533 Lanark St. They recommend making an appointment, as the number of walk-in visits is limited.
